Chico is a “Mecca” for the Arts!

Chico, CA is home to many talented and renowned artists. During my 15 years as the proprietor of Cory’s Sweet Treats and Gallery, I had the privilege of showcasing over a hundred artists. Cory’s Country Inn carries on a tradition of sharing local art with our visitors.

Our current showing includes the art of:

  • Mary Anderson—sculptural ceramic vases
  • Garnetta Finnegan—monotypes
  • Lois Cohen—landscape watercolors
  • James Snidle—oil on canvass-impressionistic
  • Salvatore Casa—paintings, watercolors, murals
  • Lorraine Slattery—oil on paper
  • Sandy Fisher—textiles
  • Richard Satava—art glass
  • Janet Turner—print collection
  • Carryl Brown—pastel landscapes and hand-made dolls
  • Carla Greslie—water media paintings
  • Chris Cantello—horse hair ceramic sculpture

For our collection, we have compiled an “Artist Book” in which each artist in the Inn has a biography, list of their current pieces being shown (with prices) and, if available, their website for further contact… Please enjoy!
